ReservePROPOSEDNOT DEPLOYED
Five ledgers. Every one holds zero.
“AI usage buys TAO.” is a proposed policy. A proposed policy, not a running one: charging is OFF, revenue is $0, no TAO has been bought and no token exists. This page is the status surface for what a reserve would hold, by accounting class, until something is funded. It becomes a balance sheet only when there is a balance.
LIVE ROUTER
VERIFIEDRuns today: a request is routed, answered and recorded. Free while charging is off.
PROPOSED ECONOMICS
PROPOSEDWritten down and modelled. Charging is off, revenue is $0, no fee is collected and no TAO has been bought.
NOT-DEPLOYED TOKEN
NOT DEPLOYEDTAON has no contract, no address and no market. 0 of 8 token gates are met.
The five classes, today
A reward vault holds assets against user liabilities. A permanent reserve holds protocol-owned assets. The two are never mixed, never reported as one balance, and a page never calls one by the other’s name.
LIABILITY
Reward-vault liabilities
NOT DEPLOYED
Bridged TAO a reward vault would hold against stakers’ claims. The vault has no equity: every unit it holds is owed to the staker class. It is never a TAONIC asset.
No vault contract exists. Funded liability: none. Accrued: none. Coverage: not applicable.
PROTOCOL-OWNED ASSET
Protocol-owned reserve
NOT DEPLOYED
TAO owned by TAONIC whose principal is never distributed. Nobody holds a claim on it. Funded, if ever, only from the treasury half by an owner decision, never from the stakers’ half.
No reserve address. TAO acquired: none. In version one the Demand Reserve is a published index with no capital behind it.
PROTOCOL-OWNED ASSET
Treasury assets
NOT DEPLOYED
Operating funds under the treasury multisig: the treasury half of eligible fees and of eligible surplus, spent in eight published categories.
No multisig, no address, no signers (OWNER DECISION), no statement.
CUSTODY
Native-Bittensor custody
ZERO
TAO or subnet alpha held on Bittensor under a coldkey or a contract mirror, which is the only place TAO can be staked. A custodial boundary with its own signers or keepers.
No coldkey, no multisig, no Bittensor-side contract. Nothing is staked anywhere.
RESTRICTED, IN TRANSIT
Bridged assets
ZERO
Bridged TAO on Robinhood Chain moving between a fee collector, the vault, the treasury or a bridge lane. It depends on its issuer and on the Chainlink CCIP lane to Bittensor EVM, the only lane out.
No fee collector, no balance, no bridge transaction. The bridged TAO contract itself exists and is an external fact, not a TAONIC holding.
What each class would show once funded
| Class | Would publish | Never publishes |
|---|---|---|
| Reward-vault liabilities | Funded, owed to stakers; accrued and unclaimed; streaming over the next days; received and waiting; coverage in units; the source split between market fees and product deposits. | A projected rate, an APY, a “you will receive” figure. |
| Protocol-owned reserve | Address, balance at a stated block, each purchase or “no purchase” record with its reference price, and the custody drill. | A claim by anyone on its principal. |
| Treasury assets | Opening and closing balance at a stated block, inflows by sweep, outflows by category with payee role, related-party section, signer set and threshold. | Spending described as decentralized while signer-controlled. |
| Native-Bittensor custody | Coldkey or contract address, staked positions by subnet, realized proceeds, the slippage against the depth bound. | Alpha marked as if it were TAO. |
| Bridged assets | Collector balance awaiting sweep, bridge transactions by hash, the lock-pool backing ratio from an off-chain monitor. | Bridged TAO described as native TAO. |
The asset a reserve would hold
On Robinhood Chain (chain 4663) the only TAO is a bridged representation. Its identity is verified; the governance of its issuer is not. A healthy chain, that token and Uniswap v4 infrastructure are external facts: none of them means a TAONIC contract or balance exists.
